Todd Olson,

American Stage Theatre Company

Todd Olson has been at American Stage since 2003. His passion for theatre shows in their successes-- subscriptions have nearly doubled, overall attendance has increased 42%, and programming is up 116%. In 2009, American Stage moved into it’s new, state of the art theatre!

 Todd’s education experience includes a BFA in Musical Theatre, and MFA
in Acting and Directing from UNC. He attended the American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University.

Todd has impressive experience and success in writing, acting, directing, and teaching. While at the Tennessee Repertory Theatre, he won a dozen annual Nashville "Tennie" Awards for "Best Production" and "Best Director." At American Stage Todd’s directing has earned the Weekly Planet "Best of the Bay" for "Top-10 Productions of the Year" and "Best Director.”

As an author, Todd’s “My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra” has enjoyed over 200 productions world-wide.

In 2010, American Stage was awarded “Best Theater Company” by the annual survey of the “Best of the Bay” by Creative Loafing (12th year in
a row) and Tampa Bay Magazine (8th year in a row).
