Stephanie Schorr, Stephanie Schorr is a professional potter who exhibits at several shows per year and is featured in numerous galleries throughout the Tampa Bay area. She is the owner of Craftsman House Gallery & Cafe, an authentically renovated 1918 Arts and Crafts bungalow in the Grand Central District of St Petersburg. The gallery recently received a 2009 Niche award for “Best New Gallery in the U.S.” Her studio is located in the converted carriage house and is always open to curious visitors. Originally from the mountains of North Carolina, Stephanie enjoys the simple beauty of the natural world. Her art reflects a love of the outdoors, and repeating themes of plant life & circulating organic imagery are integral to her work. Her artwork has been published in Lark Books 500 Plates and Chargers. She was recently featured on HGTV's That's Clever. Stephanie is an avid volunteer, promoting the arts within the community. She is a member of the Arts Advisory Committee for the City of St Petersburg and a guest project member of the Public Art Commission. When not working, she is often at the beach, bicycling, kayaking, or in the garden. She is also an avid reader and enjoys baking. Her dog Chad, a 100-pound Akita, is her constant companion, studio mate, and biggest fan. |
