Chef Chris Greer is a relative newcomer on the local culinary scene, who is known for pushing the boundaries of flavor combinations. After moving to Florida in 2007, Chef Greer studied under Patrick Schaefer of Armani’s in Tampa, and later with Chef Domenica Macchia at MJ’s Jazz Lounge. A unique opportunity arose when The Queen’s Head was opened in 2009, enabling Chef Greer to create exciting small plates and full dinner menus with seasonal appeal.

Reflecting Chef’s creativity, the menu at The Queen’s Head has an accent on modern British faire with European influences unlike any other found in
St Petersburg. Though self-taught, Chef has won over palettes of guests and food critics alike, winning a Best of the Bay award for “Best New Restaurant” within six weeks of opening in the lively Grand Central district.
