Chef Scott Vogel,
Café Alma

In March 2008, Scott Vogel became Executive Chef and owner of Café Alma with his brother, Thorn Vogel. Fashioned in the Chef's signature style, the menu now features European cuisine with American flair showcasing fresh fish, pastas, and a wide variety of tapas. Guests will also find 150 wines from around the world and an extensive beer selection to compliment the menu. The café's name is the Spanish word for soul, or "Feed the soul," as they say at Café Alma.

Chef Vogel attended the Culinary Institute of America and has studied with top chefs in the US. Chef Vogel has won several culinary and restaurant awards, including 6 medals at the International Hot Sauce competition for his Piri Piri Sauces. Café Alma has been awarded "Best Brunch," "Best Bloody Mary Bar" and Florida Trend magazine’s Top 50 restaurants in Florida.

Chef Vogel and his wife Kristine, GM of Café Alma, support local charity events and enjoy Florida's outdoor activities in their spare time. Both invite you to discover Café Alma's European-style charm and Chef Vogel's culinary creations for breakfast, lunch, weekend brunch, or dinner.
